The Xavier Musketeers and their revamped roster are finishing up summer workouts from the Klekamp Family Training Center with the 2024-25 regular season just over three months away.

However, the recruiting trail is still heating up and Xavier, which doesn't have a freshman on scholarship this season, is in the mix on several prospects. Several Xavier targets in the Class of 2025 are narrowing down their lists of potential colleges as the summer winds down. Here's where Xavier stands on some of its current recruits.

    Omari Witherspoon

Witherspoon, a 6-foot-4, 185-pound combo guard from St. John's in Washington, D.C., included Xavier in his top-10 on Monday afternoon.

The Musketeers are joined by Butler, Clemson, George Mason, Pittsburgh, Vanderbilt, West Virginia, Virginia Tech, Maryland and Oklahoma State in the Witherspoon sweepstakes. The Musketeers offered Witherspoon July 1.

Witherspoon is ranked by 247Sports as a three-star guard and the No. 5 player in Washington, D.C. for the Class of 2025.

    Nyk Lewis

Speaking of Washington D.C. recruits, Xavier has been in on Nyk Lewis, the area's top-ranked player for the Class of 2025 and a four-star guard, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings .

Lewis, a top-10 point guard in the nation for the 2025 class, was at Xavier for an official visit last month and included the Musketeers in his recently-released top-6.

It could come down to a Big East bidding war for the Gonzaga High School product as Lewis also included conference rivals Creighton, Seton Hall and Georgetown in his top-6. Lewis is scheduled to visit Michigan Aug. 1, according to On3 Sports .

    Amari Evans

Atlanta native Amari Evans trimmed his list of college suitors to 10 over the weekend, including Xavier.

A Pittsburgh native, Evans currently plays for Overtime Elite in Atlanta. He is ranked by 247Sports as a four-star recruit and a top-10 player in Georgia for the Class of 2025. Evans will take his official visit to Xavier in September.

    Kayden Mingo

Xavier offered Mingo, a 6-foot-1, 160-pound guard, in June after watching him play in Nike's EYBL Circuit.

He is working to schedule an official visit to Xavier, along with Notre Dame, Penn State, Wake Forest, Virginia Tech and Georgia, beginning at the end of August, according to On3Sports .

Mingo (Long Island Lutheran High School) is tabbed as a four-star recruit and the No. 2 player in New York for the Class of 2025, according to 247Sports.

    Ben Ahmed

Xavier has a new big man to target for next season's class after Ahmed announced he would reclassify to 2025. Ahmed is a 6-foot-10, 250-pound center from Putnam Science Academy in Connecticut.

Ahmed was one of the top frontcourt players in the Class of 2026 and decision to reclassify didn't change that. He's still tabbed by 247Sports as a top-3 player in Connecticut and a top-10 center in the country.

Xavier rivals Georgetown and Providence offered Ahmed, as well, along with Rhode Island, which is coached by Sean Miller's younger brother, Archie.
