15 Dispensaries You Can Purchase Recreational Marijuana

Recreational marijuana is officially hitting the shelves at licensed dispensaries across Ohio Tuesday, August 6th.

Dual-use licenses have been granted to existing medical marijuana facilities. Dispensaries like Norwood’s “The Landing” has been prepping for recreational sales since Monday.

Before deciding to go purchase your newly legal flower, here’s a couple things to note:

• You must be 21 and have an ID
• Items cannot be opened on the property
• Inventory cannot be touched until purchased

Dispensary owners are already prepared for the influx of regular smokers and newbies. Abayomi Nelson with The Landing stated, “That is why I asked for patience. We have very rarely dealt with the amount, with the volume of people, that we will be getting. So it is going to be a hard learning curve.”

As recreational sales roll out, 98 dispensaries will be receiving dual-use Certificates of Operation by the Ohio Department of Commerce Division of Cannabis Control, including 15 in the greater Cincinnati area :

• Queen City Cannabis Medical Dispensary of Cincinnati – 3764 Montgomery Road

• Zen Leaf Cincinnati – 8420 Vine Street
• Nectar – 3405 Werk Road
• OPA – 830 Reedy Street
• Verilife – 5431 Ridge Avenue
• Columbia Care – 300 N Main Street
• Uplift – 101 Mercy Boulevard
• Uplift – 401 Rivers Edge Drive
• The Landing Dispensary – 1312 Hamilton-Lebanon Road
• AYR Dispensary – Goshen – 6722 OH-132
• Verilife – 1098 N High Street
