    School bells ring for Pick. Co. students

    Pickaway County schools started classes this week for a brand new school year.

    Teays Valley Schools’ classes began Wednesday for grades K-9, and Thursday for grades 10-12.

    As to Westfall Schools, classes began Wednesday — first day for preschool and grades 1-5, 6 and 9. Classes begin Thursday — all students preschool and grades 1-12 report, first day for kindergarten last names beginning with A-K. Classes begin Friday — first day for kindergarten last names beginning with L-Z.

    Per Circleville City Schools, the first day of school for grades 1-12 was Wednesday. Kindergarten will have a staggered start with last names A-L coming Monday, August 19 and last names M-Z coming Tuesday, August 20.

    Classes begin for the Logan Elm School District on Aug. 22 for grades K,1,3,5,6,9 and 11 — Aug. 23 for grades K,2,4,7,8,10 and 12 — both days being staggered start days. All students start Aug. 26.

    As to New Hope Christian Academy, new and returning students start school Wednesday, August 21
