NEW YORK — Terry Anderson, the Associated Press correspondent who became one of America’s longest-held hostages after he was snatched from a street in war-torn Lebanon in 1985 and held for nearly seven years, has died at 76. Narrowing of temporary injunction sought by attorney general
The Center Square — Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost wants the state Supreme Court to narrow a temporary injunction that stops the state’s ban on minor transgender health care and boys playing on girls’ sports teams. The Center Square — Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine wants President Joe Biden to stop an Air Force plan to permanently federalize part of the Ohio National Guard into the U.S. Space Force. Ohio House holds first hearing for new nitrogen gas death penalty method
(Ohio Capital Journal) — House lawmakers have begun hearings on a controversial new execution method known as nitrogen hypoxia. The protocol, used in Alabama for the first time recently, subjects a prisoner to a high concentration of nitrogen which causes them to eventually suffocate.
