Commissioners announce repairs
At Tuesday morning’s weekly meeting of the Pickaway County Commissioners, Tim McGinnis, Director of Pickaway County Planning & Development, was given the floor to discuss the progress on the road repairs in Tarlton. The repairs will be on Harrison Street south of Main Street, from Main Street to the Village line. Outside of town, the road is called Tarlton-Adelphi Road. Rotary supports Ted Lewis Park
Larry Logan accepts a donation from Circleville Noon Rotary to raise funds for major improvements at Ted Lewis Park. Library panel discusses housing issues
The Pickaway County Library recently hosted a panel discussion covering many different issues involving housing in Pickaway. “Underhoused” means that there is inadequate or poor housing. The term “underhoused” is increasingly being used, along with “unhoused” as an alternative to “homeless.” The topics discussed were very broad, from housing for homeless families to programs for foster children who are aging out of the system to a shelter for battered women to programs to support food security among children who have unstable housing arrangements. ...
