As Pickaway County grows, so too does Adena Health

A growing community needs a health system that grows alongside it.

In Circleville, Adena Health has taken its longstanding commitment to the health and well-being of those living in Pickaway County and expanded upon it to become a partner in that growth. In just the past few years, Adena has expanded its Circleville presence from one clinic to four locations, offering a wider variety of providers and services than ever before.

Across its nine-county service area, Adena physicians and caregivers are involved in the community and care for their friends, family, and neighbors with a full array of services and facilities close to where their patients live and work. Now, with the strong growth taking place in Circleville, it’s important that residents of Pickaway County have access to that same level of care close to home that they deserve.

That’s because as more and more business development occurs in the area, it is essential to keep the workforce fueling that development healthy, safe, and productive. In response to that need, Adena’s occupational health services in Circleville have added certified nurse practitioner Marissa Purpero.

Marissa joins Jennifer Ross, DO, seeing patients at Adena Urgent Care – Circleville. Each provider specializes in all aspects of occupational medicine and works as a partner with companies to help prevent injury and illness to ensure that when it does occur, employees can recover well and return to work quickly. Adena occupational health also helps patients with worker’s compensation injuries, drug screenings, Ohio Department of Transportation physicals, and pre-employment screenings.

But that’s not the only thing new in town improving the patient experience.

While getting sick or injured is never convenient, Adena Urgent Care – Circleville is. Pickaway County residents can now benefit from new online appointment scheduling at the 166 Summit Avenue location in the Circleville Plaza, as well as at any of Adena’s other six urgent care and same-day care facilities.

Patients can still choose to walk in without an appointment. The new online scheduling feature, however, gives patients the opportunity to choose an appointment time that is convenient for them.

Adena Urgent Care – Circleville is open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
