The Pickaway County Chamber of Commerce will hold its monthly networking event, Business After Hours, on Wednesday, July 10th from 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. at Manchester Hill Winery, 13160 Tarlton (State Route 159) Road, Circleville. Their business is the last location with a Circleville mailing address when heading east to Tarlton.

Krista Bower, the Chamber’s Executive Director Chamber, welcomes members and non-members alike to this free networking event. Please RSVP by 5:00 p.m. on or before Monday, July 8th at the Pickaway Chamber website - pickawaychamber.com. Go to the Events Calendar and click on the July 10th event to bring up the online registration form.

Manchester Hill Winery is a family-owned business with husband Patrick McGrath serving as the Winemaker and wife Nicole Mitchell serving herself as she performs her duties as Quality Control Manager. Nicole also handles the front of the house and the staff, which includes their son, a sophomore at Logan Elm High School.

“What makes us different is that we create everything on site,” said Nicole. “We have 500 vines and counting, and we do all the fermenting, bottling and sales right here. Everything is done by hand and it all happens right here.”

Their wines and ciders are not sold through wine shops or convenience stores. You must visit their winery, a nice place to stop while traveling on State Route 159 just east of Tarlton. This allows them to have control over storage, ensuring that their wines are always fresh.

The BAH event will feature wine sampling and free food. They offer cheese and charcuterie boards, platters and paninis during normal business hours. Their food truck, which features barbeque and pizza, is open on Fridays and Saturdays, from 5:00pm to 8:30 p.m.

Manchester Hill offers live entertainment every Saturday from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., featuring local musicians like Hollyview, Acoustic Horizon, Kristin Granza (who sang our National Anthem at the opening of this year’s Pickaway County Fair), Steven Riggs and others! Check their Facebook page under events to see who is booked through the end of December.

Nicole and Patrick are very proud of their food truck; it is their commercial kitchen and is custom-built to allow them to smoke their meat onsite leading to “delicious and mouthwatering barbeque.”

Nicole is also very proud of the pizzas they make, saying, “As I am from New York and my husband is from New Jersey, we know pizza! We have our flour imported from Naples, Italy and make the dough from scratch.”

Visit them on their website page (manchesterhill.com) or on social media of Facebook, Instagram, and X (formerly known as Twitter), or just give them a call at 843-893-8724.
