Citrus County Sheriff: 12 Animals Rescued From Dunnellon Home, Owner Arrested
CITRUS COUNTY, Fla. – Citrus County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) deputies discovered a horrifying scene of animal neglect at a Dunnellon residence on Tuesday night. Joshua Sirmons, 48, was found to be keeping 12 animals, including dogs, cats, a tortoise, and a bird, in squalid conditions with no access to clean water or proper care.
Two men charged in connection with city of Dunnellon lawn equipment theft
Two men were arrested Thursday by Dunnellon Police Department officials in connection with lawn equipment stolen from a city compound. Ruben Santiago, 45, and Tommy Dominguez, 28, were taken into custody at a residence located in the 300 block of Northeast 15th Court by Dunnellon police, with assistance from Ocala Police Department officers. Three dogs rescued in Crystal River after structure fire is traced back to dryer
CITRUS COUNTY, FL (352today.com) – Citrus County Fire Rescue (CCFR) had to act fast to save three dogs from a structure fire on Tuesday. The fire occurred around 10:50 p.m. at a concrete block structure on W. Tangerine Ln. in Crystal River. Units from CCFR arrived at the scene where they say they found smoke and fire spewing from the back of the building.
