City of Orange Recreation Center shares youth summer sports camp details

The Orange Recreation Center is hosting the annual Youth Summer Sports Camp.

Starting May 28, camp is held for five weeks from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays until June 28.

This staff-supervised, co-ed sports camp is for ages 7-12 and offers fundamentals and skills of a new sport each week, including basketball, volleyball, pickleball and flag football!

Weekly Schedule:

Week 1: May 28-31. basketball

Week 2: June 4-7, pickleball

Week 3: June 11-14, volleyball

Week 4: June 18-21, flag football

Week 5: June 25-28, all sports

Participants can register for each week individually at $40 per week or for all five weeks at the discounted price of $180 total.

Other discounts are available for families with multiple children in the same household attending the camp.

Pricing:

• $40 per week, or $180 for all 5 weeks
• Pricing per additional child for all 5 weeks: 2nd child-$126, 3rd child-$108 and 4th child-$90

Once registered, attendees receive an invoice that must be paid in person at the Recreation Center, located at 1405 W. Orange Avenue in Orange.

Breakfast and lunch are provided daily.

Fees for late pick-up will be applied.
