Brief Motorcycle Pursuit Ends with 17-Year-Old Under Arrest

HUMBLE, TX (June 7, 2024) – A brief motorcycle pursuit ended with the arrest of a 17-year-old driver by the Humble Police Department. Officers observed the motorcycle traveling at a high rate of speed and swerving through traffic on the highway. When an officer attempted to initiate a stop, the driver began to evade police.

The pursuit continued for several miles until the motorcycle experienced a mechanical failure, allowing officers to apprehend the driver swiftly. The 17-year-old was placed under arrest and charged with felony evading in a motor vehicle.
