Wrecker Driver Helps Humble Police Arrest Three Theft Suspects

HUMBLE, Texas, June 10, 2024 – According to the Humble Police Department, Day Shift A officers were alerted by Academy staff about two males pushing a shopping cart loaded with stolen merchandise. The Academy reported that the suspects fled the scene and loaded the stolen items into a silver Toyota Corolla, driven by a female.

A wrecker driver in the vicinity heard the description of the vehicle and observed it leaving the scene. The wrecker driver promptly provided updated information to the officers, who subsequently detained all three individuals involved.

The suspects were arrested for theft, and one of the males was charged with felony theft due to previous theft convictions.
