Joshua Lashun McWilliam Arrested for Murder in Fatal Shooting of Larenzo Terrell

HOUSTON, Texas (June 17, 2024) - According to the Houston Police Department a suspect wanted and charged in the fatal shooting of a man that occurred at 14711 Main Street about 5:30 p.m. on May 28, 2023, is in custody.

The suspect, Joshua Lashun McWilliam, 32, is charged with murder in the 209th State District Court. He is accused in the death of Larenzo Terrell, 33.

HPD Homicide Division reported that officers responded to a shooting call and found the victim in the parking lot of a gas station at the above address. He had suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was transported by Houston Fire Department paramedics to Ben Taub General Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

Further investigation identified the suspect as McWilliam, and on June 7, 2023, he was charged for his role in the shooting.

Last Friday, June 15, McWilliam was arrested in Texas City by members of the Gulf Coast Fugitive Task Force without incident.
