Man Arrested for Assaulting Waitress and Witness

HOUSTON, Texas (June 17, 2024) - According to the Harris County Precinct Three Constable's Office, a male suspect has been arrested for assaulting a witness.

Evening Shift Deputies were dispatched to the 11900 block of Kona Cay Drive for a disturbance call. Upon arrival, deputies spoke with a witness who stated he observed Carlos Garcia-Gutierrez striking the victim. The witness confronted Garcia-Gutierrez, who then assaulted the witness.

Deputies also spoke with the first victim, who stated they were only pushed by Garcia-Gutierrez. Deputies contacted the Harris County District Attorney's Office, which accepted assault charges against Garcia-Gutierrez. Deputies placed Carlos Garcia-Gutierrez into custody and transported him to the Harris County Jail, where he was booked without incident.
