    Nurse Sues Houston Treatment Facility for Alleged Retaliation Over Reported Medical Errors

    HOUSTON, Texas - According to court documents filed in Harris County District Court under Case No. 202438184- 7. The plaintiff, a former employee has filed a lawsuit against the Center for Success and Independence, Inc. (TCSI) in the Harris County District Court. The former employee alleges unlawful retaliation following her reports of serious medical errors and neglect at the facility.

    Allegation: The former employee who was a nurse at the treatment center allegedly reported these incidents to her supervisors and subsequently to the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services and the Texas Board of Nursing, The former employee alleges that TCSI retaliated by terminating her employment.

    Relief Sought: The former employee seeks monetary relief exceeding $1,000,000 for actual and punitive damages, lost wages, mental anguish, and other penalties provided by law.

    I looked up this institution. The entire treatment staff are social workers and drug rehab, counselors. These type of therapists usually employ various forms of psychotherapy that don't involve the use of pharmaceuticals. Who was prescribing medications and supervising their use? Usually this is an MD, preferably a psychiatrist.
