HOUSTON, June 18, 2024 - According to a recently filed lawsuit in Harris County District Court, four individuals are seeking monetary damages ranging from $250,000 to $1,000,000, alleging they were brutally assaulted by security personnel at Latina's Cabaret in Houston.

The lawsuit claims that on January 26, 2024, Raul Franco, Ruben Mejia, Antonio Perez, and Miguel Franco were visiting Latina's Cabaret with permission from the establishment. While Miguel Franco was on his way to the restroom, he allegedly encountered a security guard, leading to a verbal altercation. It is further alleged that when Raul Franco attempted to intervene, the security guard, along with other unknown individuals, began to physically attack him.

The remaining plaintiffs allegedly tried to stop the attack, but the security personnel continued their assault. According to the lawsuit, Raul Franco was knocked unconscious and, along with two other plaintiffs, was taken to LBJ Hospital. He underwent surgeries for a broken jaw and other injuries. The plaintiffs contend that the attack was unprovoked and that they posed no threat to the security personnel or others at Latina's Cabaret.

As a result of the alleged assault, the plaintiffs claim they sustained injuries requiring medical attention, with Raul Franco still suffering from these injuries. The plaintiffs are collectively seeking compensation for their alleged injuries and medical expenses. Latina's Cabaret has not yet responded to the allegations.
