International Soccer Star Jorginho James Arrested for Assaulting Wife at Daycare While Out on Bond

HARRIS COUNTY, TX - Jorginho James, a 21-year-old international soccer player who has represented Jamaica's Reggae Boyz and played professionally in the USA, Japan, and Antigua, was arrested on August 31, 2024, for assaulting his wife at their daughter's daycare while out on bond. The incident, captured on the daycare's security cameras, occurred with his young daughter present. James had been out on bond from a previous case in which he allegedly choked and assaulted his wife in March 2024.

Despite the latest charges, James was able to post the $30,000 bail and is currently free.

The State of Texas vs. James, Jorginho Orlando, Case No. 188285601010, is being heard in the 174th District Court in Harris County District Court.

His wife has expressed serious concerns for her safety, fearing that James may attempt to kill her to Grizzy's Hood News and shared the daycare video with her which you can watch on her website.

He is also said to be a local youth soccer league coach.
