15 missing children in Missouri since June 2024: some cases resolved and more added

    2024-09-04

According to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), 1,467 children have been reported missing in the U.S. since January 1, 2024, a drop since the figure of 1,533 previously reported. That drop indicates 66 cases were resolved.

    Missouri missing children

A reminder that not all missing children are runaways, but Missouri law also defines a runaway as a missing child. (§ 43.400, RSMo 2023.) I initially reported on missing children as of June 1, 2024. Several of those children no longer have posters on the NCMEC website, so it's possible their cases were resolved since their posters were removed.

Below are updated lists. Click on the names to view the respective posters (images). A piece of good news is that some children missing in June and July 2024 no longer have a missing child poster on the NCMEC website.

These three children have been missing since June 2024:

    1. Jewely Clark, age 16, has been missing from Fulton, Missouri since June 7, 2024.

    2. Matthew Harvey, age 15, has been missing from Republic, Missouri since June 24, 2024.

    3. Avry Michele Saner, age 14, has been missing from Kirksville, Missouri since June 30, 2024.

A previous poster for Kenneth Savage is no longer on the NCMEC website indicating his case was resolved.

These 3 children have been missing since July 2024:

    1. Isaiah One Patrick Coats, age 15, has been missing from Bloomsdale, Missouri since July 6, 2024.

    2. Breal Boykin, age 17, has been missing from St. Charles, Missouri since July 22, 2024.

    3. Dj Amerine, age 15, has been missing from Blue Springs, Missouri since July 27, 2024.

The previous posters for Jordan Young and Sakyriah Williams of July 2024 have been taken down from the NCMEC website, and it’s believed their cases were resolved or their posters were removed.

The following nine children have been missing since August 2024. This update includes the removal of Breanna Lee’s poster previously reported as missing. Seven added children have been missing since their respective dates in August 2024.

    1. Caitlyn Horn, 17, has been missing from Lee’s Summit, Missouri since August 3, 2024.

    2. Sincerri Phillips, age 15, has been missing from Florissant, Missouri since August 6, 2024.

    3. Micah Samuel Corbett, age 16, has been missing from Rolla, Missouri since August 12, 2024.

    4. Daycen Lee Morrison, age 16, has been missing from Columbia, Missouri since August 19, 2024.

    5. Christopher Williams, age 17, has been missing from Columbia, Missouri since August 19, 2024.

    6. Justice Stiles, age 17, has been missing from Willard, Missouri since August 21, 2024.

    7. Aryana Conkrite, age 15, has been missing from St. Louis, Missouri since August 21, 2024.

    8. Skylar Eugene Horn, age 17, has been missing from St. James, Missouri since August 21, 204.

    9. Winter Virginia Rains, age 17, has been missing from Kansas City, Missouri since August 23, 2024.

The NCMEC is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation that is always helping to locate missing children. This organization works with families and law enforcement, and it's extremely helpful when people share this information. This organization also helps to prevent abductions, recover missing children, and to help shut down child sexual exploitation.

Regional offices are in New York, Texas, and Florida. The NCMEC has a 24-hour Call Center: 1-800-843-5678. NCMEC is a phenomenal resource. This remarkable organization also accepts donations.
