    Jimmy's Egg

    Jimmy's Egg has a 4.5 rating on Tripadvisor out of 180+ reviews. It's located at 3315 East Battlefield Street and 3837 S. Campbell Avenue in Springfield.

    We walked over from our hotel and even though it was mid morning, they were able to fit a huge group! Many many yummy choices of food! Service was great! This is the second time we have eaten here and obviously recommend it since we went back. (Source.)

    Jimmy's Egg began in Oklahoma and has restaurants in seven states. It's been operating for over three decades. From the menu, you'll find traditional breakfast options and specialty items like the Chorizo Breakfast Tacos pictured above or Biscuits Gone Wild which includes two buttermilk biscuits, crumbled sausage, ham, sausage gravy, cheddar cheese, and two eggs.

    Cedar's has a 4.5 rating on Tripadvisor out of 160+ reviews. This restaurant is located at 3322 South Campbell in Springfield. Cedar's is a famiy owned restaurant established in 1986. If owner Dennis Butzlaff ever retires, his son, Luke, will take over.

    Earlier this year, Springfield Business Journal had its business spotlight on this restaurant and shared how even during the pandemic in 2020, Butzlaff didn't close and kept his employees.

    Visit here to see Cedar's breakfast menu. Hours are from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Mondays through Saturdays, and 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Sundays.

    George's Restaurant was established in 1973. This restaurant has a 4.0 rating out of over 190+ reviews. This restaurant is located at 339 South Glenstone Avenue in Springfield.

    From Big Breakfast to Skillets options to Steak & Eggs, there's something on this restaurant's menu to please new and returning customers. Reviewers recommend the breakfast because of the generous portions.

    Ziggie's is open from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Sundays through Tuesdays and from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Wednesdays through Saturdays.

    College Street Cafe is located at 1622 West College Street in Springfield. This building wasn't always called College Street Cafe, but it's part of Springfield's history story. While it doesn't appear this small cafe has a website, it's a popular place for regulars.

    The food and service was awesome!!! I had the Western Omelette, it was probably one of the best omelettes I have ever ate!!! (Source.)

    This small venue is referred to as a Route 66 landmark and has had travelers come in from other countries making the Mother Road journey. Allmenus provides a menu for this restaurant.
