Trio arrested after 70-mile, 5-county chase on I-65
EDINBURGH, Ind. – Three Indianapolis men led police on a high-speed pursuit that crossed multiple county lines in southern and central Indiana on Friday afternoon. At around 5:30 p.m., Indiana State Police (ISP) troopers attempted to stop a pickup truck for speeding on southbound I-65. The truck was clocked at 87 mph in a 70 mph zone near the 14-mile marker in Clark County. The vehicle pulled over at the 12-mile marker but the driver quickly sped away with ISP chasing.
Appeals court denies former Indiana sheriff Jamey Noel’s request to overturn original bond
CLARK COUNTY, Ind. — The Indiana Court of Appeals has ruled against former Clark County sheriff Jamey Noel, denying his motion to overturn his original bond amount. Noel, who is facing a multitude of felony charges, is accused of corrupt business influence, official misconduct, ghost employment, theft and obstruction of justice. Members of his family have also been charged in the investigation.

Indiana Man Dies in Fatal I-65 Motorcycle Crash After Being Ejected from Bike
Clark County, IN – A New Albany man was killed in a motorcycle crash on I-65 northbound near the Eastern Boulevard overpass Tuesday night. Indiana State Police and emergency personnel responded to the scene around 11:00 p.m. They found the rider, 25-year-old Mason Tyler Brown, lying in the roadway after being ejected from his Kawasaki motorcycle. Brown was rushed to University Hospital in Louisville, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
