Wrongful death lawsuit from Kevin Peterson Jr.'s family can move forward, appeals court rules
CLARK COUNTY, Wash. — A wrongful death lawsuit against the Clark County Sheriff's Department and two deputies, filed by Kevin Peterson Jr.'s family, will go to a jury trial. A three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals unanimously ruled in favor of Peterson's family, whose attorneys announced the update on Wednesday.
