CLARK, NJ — The Township of Clark announced that "Union County representatives will be offering a presentation of the plans proposed for the Clark Reservoir and Recreational Area. Community members are invited to attend to learn about the project." The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, July 2.

TAPinto recently covered the concerns among some residents about the proposed recreational area project and upcoming Clark Reservoir dredging.

The Township of Clark had stated back in May that, because the proposal was a " county project on county land and not a town initiative ," it was beyond the authority of the mayor and the Clark Township Council.

Nonetheless, the Township noted that Union County Manager Ed Oatman had promised to hold a town hall meeting in order to address community concerns.

The July 2nd meeting will take place from 7-9 p.m., at the Clark Township Council Chambers, located at 315 Westfield Ave.
