First Weekend of the Cornbelt District Tournament is in the Books
The Cornbelt District Tournament got underway this weekend, with eight games over the course of three days. Play opened Friday with the Colman A’s picking up an 8-1 over the Flandreau Blue Teal. Colman scored five runs in the 7th inning to pull away for the win. TJ Silliman had 2 hits and scored twice for the A’s. Corey Roach was 3-for-4 with a pair of runs. Roach also picked up the win, tossing a complete game and allowing just 6 hits with 17 strikeouts. Gage Sharping took the loss after giving up 7 runs on 8 hits with 4 walks.
