Community foundation appoints Butts, Fairbanks to board
CHEBOYGAN — Two members have been added to the board of directors at the Cheboygan County Community Foundation (CCCF). Dave Butts joined the CCCF board at the end of 2023. A retired certified financial planner and registered investment advisor, Butts is a past president of Saginaw Financial Planners and past president of the Northeast Michigan Chapter of the International Association of Financial Planners. Butts has extensive nonprofit leadership roles, including 20 years as director and treasurer of the Saginaw Community Foundation. He and his wife Brenda live in Cheboygan.
