According to a release, on June 7th, Athens-Clarke County Police responded to a business on Lexington Road where they contacted 60-year old Anthony Phillips. Athens-Clarke Unified Government accepts manager's resignation
The Athens-Clarke County Unified Government has officially accepted the resignation of Manager Blaine Williams, effective July 12, 2024. Williams has served as the manager of ACC since April 2016 and had previously served as assistant manager for three years.
