JACKSON COUNTY, MI -- Four people, including a 12-year-old girl, were injured Monday in a freeway crash in Jackson County. A man, 58, of Concord, was driving east around 4:20 p.m. Aug. 19 on I-94 near Gibbs Road in Parma Township when he collided with a van and SUV both traveling the same direction, according to a release form the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.

McCain earns Goshen's first 2024-25 Crossroads League weekly award
JACKSON, Mich. - In the first week of competition, Goshen picked up a Crossroads League Player of the Week winner. Makiah McCain, a goalkeeper on the women's soccer team, was named the Crossroads League Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week. McCain played well in the net to help Goshen battle #21 Ottawa University Arizona to a 1-0 decision. McCain played all 90 minutes in goal, allowing just the one score and picking up three saves.
