1 hospitalized after truck rolls over on Buckhannon Pike

QUIET DELL, W.Va. (WBOY) — Traffic was delayed for hours on Buckhannon Pike Tuesday afternoon after a truck rolled over and sent one person to the hospital.

According to an official with the Harrison County 911 Center, at around 1:25 p.m., a large truck rolled over on WV Route 20/Buckhannon Pike near the intersection of Circle Drive. The official was unable to specify if the truck was a box truck or a tractor-trailer.

The driver was injured in the rollover and was taken to the hospital by ambulance to receive further treatment.

Traffic in the area was temporarily delayed while crews removed the truck but has fully reopened as of 3:50 p.m.

Crews from the Anmoore Fire Department, Clarksburg Fire Department, Stonewood Fire Department, Nutter Fort Fire Department and the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office all responded to the scene.
