    Pedestrian hospitalized after vehicle accident at Sheetz

    CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (WBOY) — An apparent juvenile was taken to the hospital Thursday afternoon following a vehicle accident at the Sheetz location in Clarksburg.

    According to an official with the Harrison County 911 Center, at around 2:45 p.m., crews were alerted to the Sheetz location on U.S. Route 19/Milford Street for a vehicle accident involving a pedestrian.

    When crews arrived, they found one person who “appeared to be” a juvenile who had sustained injuries that required them to be taken to United Hospital Center in Bridgeport for further treatment. The official did not specify the extent of their injuries.

    Fire in apartment garage displaces residents

    The official told 12 News that no arrests have been made regarding this incident and that crews with the Clarksburg Police Department were still on scene as of 3:25 p.m.

    Crews from the Clarksburg Police Department, Clarksburg Fire Department, Harrison County Sheriff’s Office and Harrison County EMS responded to this call.
