New Dollar General opens in Clarksburg

CLARKSBURG, W.Va. (WBOY) — Dollar General has opened a new location in Clarksburg.

A store at 20 Good Hope Pike/U.S. Route 19 by the Davisson Run Road/County Route 98 intersection has opened, the company announced in a press release on Monday.

The new Clarksburg location will feature home decor and an expanded party supply section, according to the release.

The store is expected to employ six to 10 people, depending on what its staffing needs end up being, according to the release. Click here to see available Dollar General jobs.

Dollar General said it’s also planning to donate 100 new books to “a nearby elementary school,” in the release, but did not specify which one.

Earlier this year, the company finished construction on its new DG Market location in West Milford . Construction on another Harrison County DG Market is also visible from Wilsonburg Road, across from the bp gas station.
