Mayfield juvenile accused of credit card fraud
A Mayfield juvenile is accused of credit card fraud according to an investigation conducted by the Graves County Sheriff's Office. The card number was used to rack up $1,200 in unauthorized purchases at three businesses in Mayfield. The credit card belongs to a Fancy Farm resident who called the Sheriff's Office when they noticed the fraudulent charges.

Man charged with assault of an officer following disturbance
A man from Slaughters has been charged with assaulting a police officer after they responded to reports of a disturbance on West 13th Street. According to the Hopkinsville police report, officers responded to a residence in the 300 West 13th for reports of a couple having a fight. Upon arrival, contact was made with 27-year-old Jordan Craig of Slaughters, who allegedly began to act aggressively with officers while they were questioning him and refused to give an ID.

Drivers heading south on Interstate 65 this week should be aware of potential traffic due to an event in Bowling Green. The National Corvette Museum is celebrating its 30th anniversary this weekend, and as part of the festivities the National Corvette Caravan will be arriving in Bowling Green.
