Mercantile to open second Wenatchee Avenue location in August
WENATCHEE — Mercantile, a local co-working space company, is expanding with a second location on Wenatchee Avenue. Mercantile first opened its doors in 2019 at the Ellis-Forde building at 14 N. Wenatchee Avenue with 21 office spaces. The company has been well-received since its launch, leading owners Rick and Cory Wray and Jeff and Heather Ostenson to open a second location.

City of Spokane expanding cooling options again this weekend
SPOKANE, Wash. – The City of Spokane is expanding cooling options again this weekend. According to the city, Spokane Public Libraries and the Trent Resource and Assistance Center will both be open during the day. The Shadle Park library will remain open until 7 p.m. Saturday and the Liberty Park, Indian Trail and Central Libraries remain open to 7 p.m. Sunday.

Look out for dangerously hot temperatures across the region on Sunday, 100-112 degrees
Sunday will be the hottest day of the weekend and week ahead across the Inland Northwest, with temperatures ranging between 100 and 110 degrees. Spokane's forecast high on Sunday is sitting around 105 degrees, with Coeur d'Alene following close behind at 103. Down south, Lewiston will be reaching even more dangerously hot conditions with a daytime of 112 expected in the LC Valley. Overnight low temperatures will mostly range between the 60s and 70s across the region.

LEWISTON - One of the largest shareholders of Vista Outdoor says they have concerns over a sale to Czechoslovak Group and intends to vote against the deal next week.
