Shooting on Ft. Campbell Blvd leaves one dead, one seriously injured

Clarksville, TN – According to the police officials, this unfortunate incident occurred right after 11 p.m. late Sunday night.

It happened in the parking lot of Lyrics Lounge, located at 1304 Ft. Campbell Blvd.

Clarksville Police Department officers responded to a 911 call reporting a shooting.

Officers arrived on the scene within a minute and learned from a witness that the individuals involved had fled northbound on Ft. Campbell Blvd.

Shortly thereafter, two males with gunshot wounds arrived at Tennova Healthcare Emergency Room.

Both were subsequently flown to Nashville by Life Flight Helicopter. One of the victims was pronounced deceased shortly after arriving at Vanderbilt Hospital.

Authorities have withheld the deceased’s identity pending notification of next of kin. The condition of the second victim remains unavailable at this time.

The Clarksville Police Department is actively investigating the incident. No additional information is available for release at this moment.
