[VIDEO] Drunk Texans Think They See a UFO in SA – It Was Not
Last month this video started to trend on social media and it makes me laugh allow me to begin by saying that this happens in San Antonio, that's the only information you need to know :). pokerdoggone posted the video below to TikTok and it makes me laugh. The funny part to me is that he repeatedly says Frank's name. What can Frank do, in that this is a UFO? It was the Tower of the Americas in San Antonio, probably the most iconic thing about San Antonio. In their defense, the fog does make it look eerie.

Tom Fowler, the bassist best known for playing with Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention as well as Ray Charles, died this week at the age of 73. Engineer and producer Dennis Moody confirmed the loss in a Facebook post, noting that Fowler died on July 2 from complications of an aneurysm he suffered the previous week. Moody praised Fowler as "one of the most creative, intelligent and wackiest people I've ever met. Tom played bass on a half-dozen Frank Zappa albums, and as well of the last 10 years with Ray Charles. I met Tom and his brother Walt when I was 20 years old. Meet 20 Other Cast Members From the Beatles’ ‘A Hard Day’s Night’
July 6 holds an extra special place in Beatles history. For starters, it was on that date in 1956 that a 16-year-old John Lennon met a 15-year-old Paul McCartney in a church auditorium in Liverpool, where Lennon was performing as a member of his school skiffle band, the Quarrymen. Had the two never crossed paths on that day, it's impossible to say what may have become of the Beatles, if anything at all.

Unstaffed IHOP In Texas: Chef Takes Matters Into His Own Hands
What would you do if you walked into one of our IHOP restaurants in Longview or Tyler, Texas and the place was just...empty?. I mean, sure, we know that there had been a labor shortage, and when times are tight perhaps businesses are running with a lighter crew of servers and cooks. Because of that, it may not be all too surprising to see fewer staff when we walk into a place of business.
Felony Arrests In Nacogdoches County June 29 – July 5
It is hot in Nacogdoches County, Texas. You would think that would put a damper on the amount of crimes being committed, but that doesn't seem to be the case. When looking at the number of arrests for this week, plenty of people are being arrested on a wide assortment of charges. Most weeks when I put this report together, someone on the list has committed an act against a child.

Watch Drone Footage of an Abandoned East Texas Ammunition Plant
I had no idea this existed in Karnack, Texas, Longhorn Army Ammunition Plant. Let's take a look at the history of this abandoned facility and how it's providing another necessity today.
Hurricane Beryl is Now Expected to Impact Much of Texas
Where do you want to go for dinner? It's a common question and the usual answer is "I don't know." Do you want Mexican, hamburger, pizza, Italian?..."I'm not sure." That's how I envision the future track of Hurricane Beryl over the next several days. Do you want to head to Brownsville, Corpus, Galveston, or how about the Texas/Louisiana border? No one seems to be sold on the correct answer...not even Beryl.
Bon Jovi’s New Album Sets Unwanted Chart Record
Bon Jovi's new album Forever certainly didn't live up to its name on the charts. As noted by Forbes, after debuting at No. 5 in its first week of release, the album fell all the way out of the Billboard 200 album sales chart the following week. Unless it returns in the future, Forever will be the first Bon Jovi studio album to only last one week in the Top 200.
