Report: Eagles trade picks for Commanders’ Jahan Dotson

The Philadelphia Eagles are looking to strengthen their receiver core with their latest offseason move.

Sources tell ESPN’s Adam Schefter the Washington Commanders are trading former 1st round pick Jahan Dotson to the Philadelphia Eagles in exchange for a 2025 third-round pick and two seventh-round picks.

According to ESPN, it was a rotating cast at WR3 in Philadelphia this summer, with veterans Parris Campbell and Britain Covey as well as rookie Johnny Wilson among the wideouts receiving reps for the first-team.

The Eagles have secured their wide receiver No. 3 to trio with their star wide receivers A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith , both of whom received long-term contract extensions this offseason. This added weapon will also suit Jalen Hurts under center, who is also surrounded by running back Saquon Barkley and tight end Dallas Goedert .

Dotson, selected by Washington in the first round of the 2022 draft, had 49 receptions for 518 yards and four touchdowns for the Commanders last season. He has 84 receptions for 1,041 yards and 11 touchdowns in two seasons for the Commanders.
