Celebrating Sisterhood 2024 was a spectacular event filled will love, warmth, and sisterhood.

As guests entered the building at Rivers Casino, they were swarmed by a plethora of vendors selling a variety of goods and services.

This event started with a Court Radio live broadcast with Dean Weitzman. During the live broadcast, light refreshments were served.

Soca Sakita hit the stage to give us an on-stage fitness performance, getting the ladies moving and give them fitness tips on how to jumpstart their fitness journey at home!

We then had our Health is Wealth Panel, moderated by Shaila, followed by the Boss Lady Panel, moderated by Lady B. We then gave Lady B a surprise, making her a Celebrating Sisterhood 2024 honoree!

After that beautiful performance, we gave flowers to our two of our Celebrating Sisterhood honoree, Dr. Ellyn Jo Waller, and Dr. Ala Stanford.

Dr. Ellyn Jo Waller is president of the Community College of Philadelphia Foundation. Dr. Ellyn Jo Waller also serves as First Lady of Enon Tabernacle Baptist Church in which she has displayed a lifelong dedication to education and the empowerment of women.

Dr. Ala Stanford is an American pediatric surgeon. She is the founder of R.E.A.L. Concierge Medicine and the Black Doctors COVID-19 Consortium. She is also the first African-American female pediatric surgeon to be trained entirely in the United States.

We then highlighted our 2024 Empowerment Honoree, Keke Palmer. , Palmer had a in-depth panel discussion with RNB Philly’s midday host Divine Martino

After that, we it time to party the only way we know how! Lady hosted her classic basement party with Classix Philly’s own DJ Bent Roc to get the party moving.
