    Delicious Beef Marinade: Perfect for Quick Meals

    This is a delicious steak/beef marinade that is terrific over rice, noodles, or even in a hard roll as a sandwich.

    The strips of beef are marinaded overnight and then baked, fried, or grilled to perfection.

    You can decide what cooking method you prefer to use.

    Perfect for a quick weekend meal for busy schedules.

    Shopping List for Beef

    • 1 to 1 1/2 lbs beef, thinly sliced ( we prefer sirloin, flank or rib eye)
    • 1/2 cup plus 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
    • 1/3 cup soy sauce
    • 1 teaspoon hoisin sauce
    • 1/4 cup honey
    • 2 cloves minced garlic
    • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
    • black pepper to taste
    • 3/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
    • 2 large peppers one red and one green sliced
    • Serving Suggestions: fluffy cooked white rice or ramen-cooked noodles
    • Garnish: black sesame seeds and sliced green onions if desired

    Directions:

    1. Add 1/2 cup vegetable oil, 1/3 cup soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, red pepper flakes, and pepper to a plastic ziplock bag.
    2. Slice the steak into strips and add to the bag, gently shake and refrigerate it overnight.
    3. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees and place parchment paper in a deep casserole pan.
    4. Place the pepper into the casserole dish drizzle some oil and soy sauce on them and stir.
    5. Top with drained marinaded steak.
    6. Bake for 15 to 25 minutes depending on how you prefer your steak (145 degrees for strip steak is medium inside).
    7. Serve beef and vegetables in bowls with rice.
    8. Top with sesame seeds, green onions, and soy sauce if desired.

    Other Cooking Methods:

    1. Grilled: place the meat an peppers in a disposable oil spray foil pan with holes and grill until it reaches 145 degrees for medium.
    2. Slow Cooker: add drained beef and peppers to a slow cooker adding just around 1/4 cup of beef stock and slow cooker 4 to 6 hours. Beef will not be medium it will be well done but very tender
    3. Pan Sauteed: place the drained meat in a heated pan with 2 tablespoons over olive oil and stir fry with peppers.
