    Cookie Bars Baked Like Magic

    2024-08-01

This is one of the oldest recipes which also have the name of magic cookie bars.

We usually adapt this recipe to match a holiday theme with colorful cherries, dried fruits and assorted chocolates.

Christmas with pistachios and dried cranberry, birthday bars using colorful funfetti and even a Patriotic bar with dried blueberries, cherries, and white chocolate.

With just a few creative ideas, you can create a different cookie bar using just the basic recipe every time.

Load it up with coconut, nuts, chocolate or even a chopped favorite candy bar.

Hold on to this recipe for the upcoming holiday, Halloween and Thanksgiving can easily have a topping of candy corn and milk chocolate chips to match a colorful theme!
