    Cheesesteak Pasta: A Meaty, Cheesy Delight!

    If you're familiar with the popular submarine cheesesteak sandwich this basic recipe is all about those flavors just with pasta instead of bread.

    This recipe is super easy and perfect for meat lovers who love a good steak, cheese, and pasta meal.

    This can be as economical as using ground beef, or thinly shaved steak.

    The flavors with pasta meld together perfectly then topped with melted cheese equals an irresistible weeknight easy meal!

    Shopping List:

    • 1 1/2 pounds of ground beef (or shaved sirloin or ribeye steak)
    • 1 green bell pepper minced
    • 1/2 onion minced
    • 2 cloves garlic finely minced
    • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
    • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
    • 4 ounces cream cheese
    • 1/2 cup milk
    • 2 cups of any brand of pasta (any shape you prefer)
    • 8 ounces sharp cheddar, mozzarella or provolone cheese shredded

    Direction:

    1. In a large sauce pot boil the pasta to the package instructions.
    2. Drain the pasta, place it in a serving baking casserole serving dish, and then set it aside.
    3. In a deep large frying pan, add the oil with onions and peppers then saute for around 5 minutes.
    4. Add the beef with garlic and continue to saute the meat until it is completely browned.
    5. Stir in the milk with cream cheese and melt them evenly into the meat mixture
    6. .Add the drained pasta and place add the cheese on top.
    7. Broil until the cheese is light brown and melted.

    Optional Additions: (anything that goes into a cheesesteak sandwich you prefer can be added).

    • mushrooms
    • hot peppers sliced
    • grilled onions
    • diced tomatoes
    • raw spinach leaves
    • hot sauce
