Slow Cooker Apple Butter and Fall Recipe

Apple Butter is one of my favorite fall toppings. The apple season is filled with all kinds of delicious varieties but my preference is using tart apples and they also cook down easier. The fruit is very popular for apple pie, fresh apple crisp, and there is no better aroma when that fall weather hits and the oven is baking or simmering with that cinnamon spice. We have so many favorite recipes we could never just choose one so during the next few months we make many recipes from our collection. If you're a huge fan of apple butter, the recipe is there step-by-step to follow. Apple Butter is easy to make and can be used for anything from sweet treats to savory meals as a side dish. Enjoy!

    Other Apple Delights:

    1. Classic Apple Pie: This timeless classic has been loved by many through the years making the traditional apple pie. With just a few ingredients including apples, butter, sugar, and a dash of cinnamon, you can create a delectable pie that all in a flaky crust this pie shouts fall.

    2. Cinnamon Apple Crisp: A comforting dessert like this cinnamon apple crisp makes me smile, as it brings back fond memories of childhood. Sliced apples are tossed with brown sugar and cinnamon, and oats add the most delicious flavor.

    3. Skillet Apple Compote: If you have an abundance of apples make apple compote. Thinly sliced apples can be baked or on the stovetop. Perfect as a dessert, topping for pancakes and so much more.

    4. Apple Banana Baked Pancake Casserole: This recipe uses a baking mix and pancake batter for the easiest morning breakfast on the planet. It is made in one pan and can even be topped with precooked sausages.

    5. Rustic Apple Galette: This is the easiest representation of making a pie but a hack of sorts. It's a combination of cinnamon and sugar baked in a single folded-up open-faced crust until the apples are tender and the pastry is browned.
