    Sweet and Sour Pineapple Pork Chops

    These super easy pineapple pork chops combine chunks of fruit to make the most tender pork chops with sweet and sour flavors. The sauce is slightly thickened with added sweetness and perfect with fluffy white rice or noodles easy side dishes. This quick pork recipe is the perfect quick weeknight meal.

    Shopping List:

    • 4 center cut pork chops
    • 2 tablespoons olive oil
    • 1 -14 ounce chunk pineapple, undrained
    • 1 bell pepper sliced
    • 1/2 cup ketchup
    • 2 tablespoons of rice wine vinegar
    • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
    • 1 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce
    • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
    • salt, and pepper to taste
    • 2 tablespoons of cornstarch to thicken the juice

    Directions:

    1. Place the pork chops in a large covered container with all ingredients.
    2. Marinate for around 2 hours. Do not drain, the pork is cooked in the marinade.
    3. Baked, Grill, or Fry pork. The pork is cooked when the internal temperature reaches 145 degrees.
    4. Baked: Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Bake for around 25 minutes
    5. Grilled: place in a cast iron skillet with a setting of medium heat for around 11 minutes
    6. Sauteed: add the pork and saute on the stovetop in a nonstick skillet.
    7. Note: if you want a thicker sauce add more cornstarch, for a thinner sauce add water
    8. This dish is delicious with white rice on the side.
