SARATOGA SPRINGS — Three alternative rock staples from the early 2000s packed and sold out Saratoga Performing Arts Center on Saturday night. “Wid ahms wad opahn," (to appropriate the distinctive singing style of frontman Scott Stapp,) an audience of approximately 20,000 greeted headliner Creed for a total of four hours of rock music from their Summer of ‘99 tour. Thankfully, with everyone packed as tightly as they were, the weather was a lovely, mild summer evening.

Townscape, a nonprofit, volunteer-based organization that focuses on community beautification and revitalization in Millerton, NY, is celebrating its 25th year! Townscape was originally founded by Catherine Fenn – along with Renee Vollen and Jan Gilmor – as a volunteer committee in 1998, and was adopted by the Village of Millerton as a nonprofit entity in 2006.
