Asbury United Methodist Church at 6690 Cahaba Valley Road will be hosting the Asbury Summer Fun Camp – Manners Matter from 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. from July 16-18. One of the largest federal grants ever received for an Alabama project will boost efforts to construct a $3.5 billion bridge across Mobile Bay. The $550 million grant, announced by Alabama Governor Kay Ivey, is the largest ever for a project in the state and marks a critical milestone in the longstanding effort to build a new Interstate 10 bridge and Bayway, now known as the Mobile River Bridge and Bayway Project.
Shelby County replacing two bridges: What drivers need to know
The Shelby County Commission recently approved over $1 million in funding for the replacement of two heavily traveled bridges.
