GREENVILLE — AgCarolina Farm Credit has welcomed four summer interns, including a Johnston County resident.

Eli Hill of Clayton is a rising senior at N.C. State University, where he is majoring in finance. His appreciation for agriculture was born on a family farm in Deep Run in Lenoir County.

With a passion for agriculture and banana pudding, Hill said he was eager to contribute and learn from his internship.

Over the summer, the four interns will learn about a variety of roles at AgCarolina and will lead several summer projects.

The internship program allows students to learn more about the agriculture industry, service to North Carolina rural communities, and AgCarolina as a financial cooperative.

Their project assignments reflect AgCarolina’s mission and serve as a way to challenge the students in a real-world work environment.
