Back-to-school event is Aug. 11 at Clayton High

CLAYTON — The 10th annual Back to School Youth Explosion is scheduled from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 11, at Clayton High School, 600 S. Fayetteville St.

The event will offer free haircuts, braids, backpacks and food.

Hair must be washed and free of tangles, and a child must be present to receive a backpack.
