A report from the National Weather Service was issued on Saturday at 10:04 a.m. for rain showers until 11 a.m. for Bristol County. "At 10:05 a.m., Doppler radar tracked heavy rain showers along a line extending from near North Kingstown to near Narragansett to 12 miles east of Block Island. Rainfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour are estimated with this line. Movement was northeast at 35 mph," states the weather service. "Minor nuisance flooding of typically flood prone areas."
