Mosquito-spraying helicopter hit by golf ball in Anoka County
OAK GROVE, Minn. (FOX 9) - The Anoka County Sheriff's Office is looking into an incident over the weekend in which a mosquito control helicopter was hit by a golf ball. Deputies say the pilot of a Metropolitan Mosquito Control District helicopter reported the incident on Friday morning. The pilot said he was flying in the area of Refuge Golf Course in Oak Grove, Minn. when he noticed the golf ball flying at the helicopter.

Man charged after leading police on a high pursuit, hitting home
ST PAUL, Minn. — A man is charged with fleeing police, driving while high and endangering a family after crashing a carjacked vehicle into a St. Paul home. Ramsey County prosecutors charged 37-year-old Lowell Kevin Higginsbay with four felony counts in connection with the July 26 incident, which started near Loring Park in Minneapolis.
