Lorimor woman booked on warrants in Creston
(Creston) -- A Lorimor woman was arrested on multiple warrants in Creston Tuesday evening. The Creston Police Department says 43-year-old Megan Marie Brown was arrested shortly before 6 p.m. on four warrants, all for failure to appear on the original charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor, driving while barred, an aggravated misdemeanor, possession of a controlled substance--marijuana and methamphetamine, 1st offense--both serious misdemeanors, and for failure to serve jail time on the charge of person ineligible to carry dangerous weapons, a serious misdemeanor. Authorities say the arrest occurred at 307 North Street.
Red Oak Police Arrest Adams County Man on Theft Charges
(Red Oak) An Adams County man faces theft charges in Red Oak. Red Oak Police arrested 42-year-old Adam Lewis Schrodt of Corning on Tuesday afternoon on a charge of first-degree theft (an amount greater than $10,000). Officers took Schrodt into custody at around 4:00 p.m. and transported him to the Montgomery County Jail. According to the press release, the Adams County Sheriff’s Office and the Des Moines Police Department may file additional charges.
