These companies are organized criminals. Trying to turn off these reimbursement-for-fee schemes is like a whack-a-mole exercise. You are on the phone for long periods to get one payor turned to paper checks, but then a few months later, they switch it back to virtual payment attempts. The other reason they do this in addition to hoping they'll wear a provider down to accept the fees, is that even if you won't cave, they are floating your money for months until they finally get a check to you and you deposit it. These are criminals and I suspect they are controlled by organized crime mobs.
