    Learn about City Council Candidates

    The city of Clearwater will host two candidate forums before the upcoming municipal election, where Clearwater residents will vote to fill three city council seats, including the mayor’s seat.

    The forum for Seats 2 and 3 will be Wednesday, Feb. 7, 6 p.m., and the forum for Seat 1 (Mayor) will be Thursday, Feb. 8, 6 p.m. Both forums will be held in Clearwater City Council Chambers at the Clearwater Main Library, 100 N. Osceola Ave.

    Al Ruechel, formerly of Bay News 9, will moderate and run the forums. No comments will be taken from the public.

    Election Day for Clearwater City Council seats 1, 2 and 3 is March 19, 2024.

    The public is invited to attend in person, stream live or stream any time after the event at MyClearwater.com/CityCouncilMeetings or YouTube.com/MyClearwater.

    The forums can also be watched live on C-View TV Spectrum Channel 638, Frontier Channel 30 and WOW! Channel 15.
