Military Officers of America holding monthly dinner

CLEMMONS — The Tarheel Central Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) will hold its monthly dinner meeting on Tuesday, May 14, at Salem Glen County Club, located at 1000 Glen Day Drive, Clemmons.

The meeting starts at 5:45 p.m. with a social hour/cash bar. That is followed by a full-course dinner with dessert and coffee/tea included for a total cost of $25 per person.

The dress is business casual. The chapter will be awarding two $1,500 scholarships to college-bound JROTC high school seniors living in the six-county area (Davidson, Davie, Forsyth, Stokes, Surry and Yadkin) served by the chapter.
