Several former Clemson and current NFL players had the chance to show off their skills this week – on the basketball court, and for a good cause.

On Friday, KJ Henry held a charity hoops game at West Forsyth High School in North Carolina. It was an event that allowed the West Forsyth alum and former Clemson defensive end to give back to the place where his football career began.

Among those who participated in the game were a trio of other former Tiger defensive linemen – Bryan Bresee, Christian Wilkins and Clelin Ferrell.

Henry and Bresee are both entering their second NFL season in 2024. Henry was a fifth-round pick (137 th overall) of the Washington Commanders in the 2023 NFL Draft, while Bresee was selected by the New Orleans Saints in the first round (29 th overall) of last year’s draft.

The two former members of Clemson’s “Power Rangers” defensive line, Wilkins and Ferrell, are each going into their sixth NFL season.

Wilkins, a first-round pick of the Miami Dolphins in 2019 (13 th overall) spent the first five years of his NFL career with the Dolphins before signing a mega free agent deal with the Las Vegas Raiders this offseason.

Ferrell is reuniting with Henry in the NFL this season, as he signed with the Commanders on a one-year deal. Ferrell, who played with Henry at Clemson when the Tigers won a national title in 2018, has also played for the San Francisco 49ers and Raiders since being drafted by the Raiders with the fourth overall pick in 2019.

Henry’s younger brother – class of 2025 forward Isaiah Henry, who holds an offer from Clemson — also took part in the game.
